Job summary

MBDA is seeking a capable Software Engineering Technical Team Lead to guide a mid-sized development team working on our missile-system middleware. You will manage Agile sprints, coordinate delivery, and ensure robust software practices across land and maritime projects.

C/C++, Ada, and/or JavaScript with shell scripting are required, and Linux experience is beneficial. This hybrid UK role offers a company bonus, pension up to 14%, flexible leave and other benefits, with security clearance

Qualifications

Capable Software Engineering Technical Team Lead with experience leading a mid-sized development team.
Proven ability to manage Agile sprints, ceremonies, and backlog prioritisation.
Experience with Linux OS configuration, support, and security maintenance.

Responsibilities

Manage Agile sprints, ceremonies, and backlog prioritisation, whilst developing software systems and processes to ensure smooth software delivery.
Facilitate effective coordination among team members, ensuring tasks are assigned, and deadlines are met.
Ensure the team follows software development best practices, quality assurance processes, and coding standards.
Involvement across multiple applications on land and maritime projects in the systems software department.
