Job summary

MBDA UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Technical Lead to head a small five-person team responsible for developing and maintaining middleware for in-service missile-system software. You will debug and investigate complex issues, collaborating with customers and multi-application teams across land and maritime projects.

The role requires C/C++ expertise, Linux experience, and a readiness to work in a dynamic hybrid environment on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience with C or C++ is essential.
• Ability to lead a small software team.
• Experience with Linux OS configuration is beneficial.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid on-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small software engineering team (five) to develop and maintain middleware solutions for in-service missile-system software.
• Perform debugging and engineering investigations, discussing solutions with customers.
• Collaborate across multiple applications on land and maritime projects within the systems software department.
