MBDA UK is seeking a capable Software Engineering Technical Team Lead to head a mid-sized development team working on our missile-system middleware. The role combines leadership of 8 engineers with hands-on software engineering across Linux-based systems and C/C++/Ada/JavaScript.
The position offers a hybrid working pattern with 3–4 days in the office, a salary circa £55,000 to £67,000, and a benefits package including a company bonus, pension, flexible leave, and enhanced parental leave.

Salary: Circa £55,000 - £67,000 depending on experience
Hybrid working pattern: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working. In this role 3-4 days per week in the office as a minimum is required due to the secure classification of the work requiring regular secure network access.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. Security Clearance (SC) is required to be obtained for this role, which is managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
