Job summary

PA Consulting is seeking a mid-senior level IT support specialist to work onsite in the UK, handling user requests in a secure environment and supporting Azure/Office 365 platforms. You will produce clear reports, follow data-management processes, and help maintain security while enabling business-critical systems.

Travel to other PA offices is required. Applicants should have Windows/Azure knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to document processes clearly; UK residency for security

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing IT support role handling tickets and assisting colleagues of varying seniority
• Knowledge of Windows OS, Azure, Office 365, and Intune
• Experience managing Azure platforms, particularly Azure Virtual Desktops (preferred)
• Ability to produce clear, concise documentation
• Strong communication across all levels of the organisation and team working ability
• UK eligibility and residency requirements for security clearance (UK nationality or 5 years residency)

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for users in a secure environment and escalate as needed
• Provide technical support and contribute to team projects
• Create concise reports showing usage of environments

• On-site work five days a week with travel to other offices as needed

Salary: £52,000 - 92,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in a customer-facing IT support role, handling support tickets and assisting colleagues with varying levels of seniority and IT proficiency.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Azure, Office 365, and Intune.
• Experience managing platforms within Azure, particularly Azure Virtual Desktops, is preferred.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to follow and produce clear, concise documentation.
• Ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation and work effectively as part of a team.
• We require candidates to meet the UK eligibility and residency conditions stated for the security clearance required for this role: UK single nationality and at least five years UK residency. The posting also describes this as being a British citizen or having been resident in the UK for the past five years.
