Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Section Engineer to join our United Utilities Framework in the North West of England. You will support the project team, ensure technical delivery aligns with design specifications, and help maintain safety and quality across on-site activities.

The role requires a civil engineering degree, understanding of consents and logistics, commercial awareness, and experience in people and project management.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of consents, logistics and traffic management.
• Commercial awareness to support project delivery.
• Experience in managing people and projects on site.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing technical delivery and ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Monitoring site progress through inspections and quality checks.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues in collaboration with project managers and site teams.
• Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports and quality documentation.
