Job summary

Kier Group in the North West of England is seeking a Section Engineer to join our United Utilities Framework. You’ll support project teams, ensuring safe delivery, on time and to high quality standards, interpreting design specs and complying with industry regulations.

You will review drawings, monitor site progress, resolve technical issues with project managers, and maintain accurate records. A Civil Engineering degree and experience in people and project management are preferred.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Understanding of consents, logistics, and traffic management.
• Awareness of commercial processes.
• Experience in people and project management.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing technical delivery and ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Monitoring site progress through inspections and quality checks.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues in collaboration with project managers and site teams.
• Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports and quality documentation.
