Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Wrexham is seeking an adaptable Secondary Tutor to provide 1:1 educational support to a learner in Wrexham. Hours are 5-15 per week starting October 2026, with ongoing duration.

The tutor will deliver structured tuition, tailor sessions to the learner’s strengths and gaps, and help develop confidence and positive learning habits while tracking progress for carers.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring secondary-aged learners.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum.
• Experience supporting learners with additional needs desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible and engaging teaching style.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
