Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a motivated Secondary Tutor to provide tailored, one-to-one support for a learner in Anglesey. The role requires adapting sessions to the student’s current level and learning style, with a focus on core subjects and building confidence.

You will work independently to plan engaging lessons, monitor progress, and report outcomes to the agency. Hours are 5-15 per week, starting September 2026, with ongoing duration.

Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching or tutoring secondary-aged learners.
• Strong subject knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organised, flexible and patient approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK
• Two professional child-related references

We are looking for an educator who can work independently, build a positive rapport with the learner and deliver structured sessions that are adapted to their academic level and learning style.
