Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a flexible Secondary Tutor to provide 1:1 educational support to a learner in Wirral. The role suits an adaptable educator who can confidently support a secondary-aged learner across core subjects with sessions tailored to individual needs.

You will build a strong professional relationship, provide feedback on progress, and plan engaging, appropriately challenging lessons. The position is part-time (5-15 hours per week) with start date September 2026 and ongoing

Requirements

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils
• Teaching or tutoring experience
• Good knowledge of the secondary curriculum
• Ability to adapt lessons to different abilities and needs
• Excellent communication and organisation
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to Work in the UK
• Two professional child-related references
