Job summary

Prospero Teaching are seeking an experienced 1:1 Secondary Tutor to provide personalised educational support to a learner in St Helens.

You will deliver engaging one-to-one tuition, tailor lessons to the learner's academic level and targets, and work independently to build confidence and progress.

Hours are 5-15 per week with a September 2026 start date, ongoing duration.

Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching or tutoring secondary-aged learners.
• Strong subject knowledge.
• Experience delivering 1:1 support desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Adaptable and learner-centred approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Two professional child-related references.

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced 1:1 Secondary Tutor to provide personalised educational support to a learner in St Helens.
