Job summary

Prospero Teaching are seeking an enthusiastic 1:1 Secondary Tutor to support a learner in Halton through flexible, personalised tuition.

We require a tutor who can work independently, establish rapport, and tailor sessions to the learner's academic needs and interests. You will deliver structured 1:1 sessions, plan around targets, and monitor progress across core subjects. DBS check is preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring secondary learners.
• Strong subject knowledge across core subjects.
• Experience delivering 1:1 support preferred.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible, patient and learner-focused approach.
• DBS check on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK
• Two professional child-related references
