Job summary

Randstad Education in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated Secondary Teaching Assistant to support students across Key Stage 3 and 4 in local secondary schools. The role is full-time and long-term during term time, with a daily rate between £92.56 and £95 and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Clear and confident communication with students aged 11–16.
• Ability to build rapport with pupils and staff.
• Experience supporting learners in school, tutoring, or volunteering.
• Willingness to obtain/enhance DBS accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead small breakout groups or 1:1 literacy/numeracy support.
• Assist with in-class activities and classroom management.
• Support students with additional needs (SEND) to access lessons.
• Provide pastoral care to promote resilience and wellbeing.
