Job summary

Engage Partners Limited in London is recruiting a secondary Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS3 and KS4, in busy Tower Hamlets schools from September. You will work with teachers to provide learning support, coaching and pastoral help, and deliver one-to-one and small-group assistance as needed.

Experience with SEND, SEMH, autism or challenging behaviour is valued. The role offers full-time, part-time or long-term opportunities, with daily rates up to £120 and a supportive education

Responsibilities

• Support students across KS3 and KS4 in the classroom.
• Work closely with teachers to provide effective learning and pastoral support.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required.
• Support students with SEND, including pupils with additional learning and behavioural needs.
• Help students remain focused, engaged and confident in their learning.
• Assist with targeted interventions, literacy, numeracy and exam preparation.
• Support positive behaviour and help maintain a calm and inclusive classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with students and act as a positive role model.
• Contribute to monitoring student progress and communicating relevant information to teaching staff.
