Job summary

Reed Education partners with secondary schools across Brighton and the wider Sussex area to recruit passionate subject specialist teachers. Roles are available from September (and immediate starts) to teach in your subject area and make a meaningful impact on student outcomes.

Deliver engaging lessons across KS3/KS4 (KS5 in some settings), use your subject expertise to stretch learners, and plan with the national curriculum. Reed Education supports you with ongoing guidance and flexible options.

Qualifications

  • Hold QTS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong academic background in your subject specialism.
  • Experience teaching in a UK secondary setting (including placements for ECTs).
  • Committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 in some settings).
  • Use strong subject expertise to stretch and challenge students.
  • Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Track progress and provide effective feedback.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The Role
