Job summary

Value Education are recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Rochdale and surrounding areas, offering flexible supply work with regular bookings and longer-term placements. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain focused and on task while following pre-prepared lesson plans.

The Role

Value Education are currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across welcoming secondary schools in Rochdale and the surrounding areas.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain focused, engaged and on task while following pre-prepared lesson plans.

• Confident managing a classroom independently.

• Able to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or young people.
• Previous secondary school experience is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Two suitable professional references.
