The Education Spesialist is seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a well-established secondary school in Oldham, rated 'Good' by Ofsted. This is a full-time, long-term position for the remainder of the academic year, providing classroom cover across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

The role offers a competitive daily rate (£95-£120), PAYE paid weekly, and dedicated consultant support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with young people (school-based desirable).
• Confident managing a classroom independently.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and adaptable approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to apply.
• Teaching roles require QTS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.
• Support a positive and structured learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
