Job summary

GT Stewart Solicitors is seeking a proactive Second Line IT Engineer to join our IT team in St Albans. You will provide second-line support, resolve complex issues, maintain desktops and cloud services, and help deliver IT projects.

You should have strong Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 knowledge, Active Directory and Entra ID experience, and be willing to travel to other GT Stewart offices. This full-time, 37.5‑hour per week role offers £28,000–£32,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Second-line IT support experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Online and Teams.
• Good networking fundamentals and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line technical support and escalate where needed.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS and application issues.
• Support Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Assist with server, network and cloud infrastructure maintenance.
