Job summary

Forbes Solicitors is seeking an IT Support Engineer (1st Line) to join the IT Team at Gordon House. This full-time role offers exposure to Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint management and IT operations within a professional services setting.

You will be the first point of contact for IT incidents, supporting Windows 11, Outlook and Teams, while helping to ensure cybersecurity and data protection alongside project deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Service Desk, Help Desk or IT support role.
• GCSEs including English and Maths, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for IT incidents, service requests and inquiries, via phone, email, remote support or in person.
• Diagnose and resolve first-line issues across Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams and related tech.
• Manage incidents and service requests using the IT Service Management system.
• Support cybersecurity and data protection, endpoint protection and device compliance.
• Assist with IT projects and deployments to improve service delivery.
• Create and maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles.
