Job summary

Shelter is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage its Preston seasonal fulfilment operation. You will lead a team of order pickers, coordinate packing and dispatch, and ensure SLAs are met in a fast-paced environment.

The role supports fundraising across the Autumn/Winter period and contributes to Shelter's mission to end housing insecurity. Previous supervision experience is desirable but not essential; strong organisation, communication and teamwork are essential to keep daily operations

Qualifications

• Experience in an order picker/supervisor role is desirable but not essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are required.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day running of the seasonal fulfilment operation.
• Lead and motivate order pickers to ensure on-time picking, packing and dispatch.
• Ensure orders are dispatched accurately and in line with SLAs.
• Act as first point of contact for operational issues.
• Collaborate with the Retail Product Manager to plan resources and improve workflows.
