Job summary

Harewood House Trust is recruiting Visitor Experience Team Members for the busy Christmas season on fixed term contracts. You will work across the House and Park, welcoming visitors, processing admissions and memberships, and supporting shop and event activities.

The role includes ferry operations and occasional guided talks, with training provided. A positive, customer-focused attitude and ability to work in all weather are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills in a busy public setting.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexibly across Harewood facilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors at reception, process member visits, sell admission tickets and promote memberships or gift aid.
• Provide information about Harewood’s histories, collections and exhibitions and upsell guidebooks.
• Assist in the ferry operation, transport visitors safely and perform basic checks.
• Support events and provide stewarding or car park assistance as required.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions when needed.
