Job summary

Lush in Colchester seeks a Seasonal Supervisor to lead the sales team and ensure exceptional customer service during peak periods.

You'll coach colleagues, maintain shop standards, and support the store manager to hit sales targets while delivering a welcoming shopping experience. You’ll collaborate with neighbouring stores, host in-store events, and promote Lush’s values in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service by providing regular coaching, feedback, and encouragement, helping them improve their product knowledge and sales skills.
• Engage with customers by offering a warm welcome, asking open-ended questions to understand their needs, and providing tailored product recommendations to create a memorable shopping experience.
• Maintain a clean, visually appealing, and well-organised shop floor by ensuring displays follow guidelines, and keeping shelves well-stocked.
• Support the store manager in achieving sales targets through team motivation, creative approaches to drive performance (like check-ins or shop floor competitions), and actively seeking opportunities to exceed goals.
• Host in-store parties, events, customer celebrations, and external outreach to enhance the customer experience and drive business growth, whilst ensuring the team is trained to confidently host these events.
• Provide training, feedback, and development for team members to improve their skills, and foster a collaborative environment.
