Job summary

TALA is seeking a motivated retail assistant for a temporary FTC in Bicester Village. You will greet customers, provide styling advice, and drive sales while upholding TALA's brand standards and store presentation.

The role requires strong communication, a proactive attitude, and team collaboration to hit sales targets. Training will cover brand trends and policies, with loyalty-building customer interactions at the core.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably fashion/activewear, with passion for the area.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
• Proactive, quick to learn, and able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong visual merchandising instincts to keep the store on-brand.
• Excellent multitasking to balance service, sales and operations.
• Fluent in English (reading/writing/speaking) for clear interactions.
• Passionate about building customer relationships and loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Embody and communicate the TALA brand philosophy to customers and colleagues.
• Greet and assist customers, providing a friendly shopping experience.
• Offer product recommendations and styling advice.
• Handle inquiries, complaints and returns professionally.
• Process sales with the store POS system.
• Maintain visually appealing store layouts and proper stock displays.
• Assist with stock replenishment and product organisation.
• Follow store displays and promotions and keep fitting rooms tidy.
• Assist in receiving and organizing inventory and perform stock checks.
• Report damaged or missing products and follow loss prevention procedures.
• Open and close the store and manage daily cash processes.
• Mentor and support Sales Associates to maintain high performance.
• Be a pillar of knowledge for product information and store operations.
