Job summary

Lush is seeking a Seasonal Supervisor for our Chelmsford store. The role supports a vibrant team in delivering exceptional customer experiences during peak periods. You will lead by example on the shop floor, coach staff, and maintain high standards throughout opening hours.

The position runs from late November to December 2026 with shifts totaling 20–30 hours weekly. Availability includes weekends, with overtime opportunities and a living wage aligned to UK standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 full days available per week, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Experience in leading teams is desirable.
• Customer service excellence and a friendly approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service by setting a high standard and coaching regularly.
• Engage with customers with a warm welcome, ask open questions, and provide product recommendations.
• Keep the shop floor clean, visually appealing, and well stocked.
• Support the store manager in achieving sales targets through motivation and innovative initiatives.
• Organise in-store events and celebrations to enhance customer experience and drive growth.
• Provide training and development for team members and assist with recruitment and onboarding.
• Lead the store in the manager's absence, ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards.
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed and store compliance is maintained.
