Qualifications

• Personable and warm approach with residents' wellbeing.
• Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification.
• Experience leading and inspiring a team.
• A good understanding of nutrition.
• Experience with fresh seasonal food ingredients.
• Ability to create a warm and welcoming kitchen environment.
• HACCP knowledge and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
• Prepare high-quality, wholesome dishes from fresh produce.
• Create a warm, efficient, and fun kitchen environment.
• Operate within budget and stock controls.
• Complete regular audits and maintain hygiene standards.
• Lead and motivate the kitchen team.
• Collaborate with residents to tailor menus.
