Job summary

Squire's Garden Centres is seeking a friendly seasonal team member to provide excellent customer service in our Crawley store. You will greet customers, answer questions and help shoppers enjoy a festive shopping experience during the holiday season.

Shifts are mainly Saturdays and Sundays from 21 November to 20 December, with additional days by arrangement. A cheerful attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Job description

Your primary responsibility will be to provide professional support to our customers.

Working closely with the Garden Centre Manager to help the business to succeed.

Seasonal: 18 November 2026 until 24 December 2026

Rota: Every Saturday 21 November - 19 December 07:45-16:30

Every Sunday 22 November - 20 December 08:45-16:30

Plus additional days required:

Wednesday 18 November for charity launch event, hours to be discussed at interview

Tuesday 1 and 7 December 08:30-12:30

Monday 21, Tuesday 22, Wednesday 23 December 09:00-16:30 with Thursday 24th December hours to be discussed at interview

Main duties and responsibilities:

Provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone by:

• Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
• Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
• Identifying customer needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action
