Job summary

Squire's Garden Centres in Cobham is seeking a friendly customer service assistant for a seasonal weekend role (Nov/Dec).

You’ll greet customers, answer questions, and help shoppers find products while maintaining tidy merchandising standards and a welcoming store ambience. Prior retail experience is not essential; a willingness to learn and positive attitude are valued.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide professional support to our customers.

Working closely with the Garden Centre Manager to help the business to succeed.

Seasonal: 28 November 2026 until 13 December 2026

Rota: Saturday 11:00-15:00 and Sunday 11:00-15:00

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone by:
• Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
• Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
• Identifying customer needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action
• Excellent standards of merchandising and housekeeping are established and maintained in accordance with company guidelines
