Job summary

Squire's Garden Centres is seeking staff for a seasonal retail role in Thames Ditton, UK. You will provide professional customer support, greet customers, and assist with queries during the peak Christmas period.

Working closely with the Garden Centre Manager, you will help the business succeed by delivering friendly service, maintaining store standards, and learning quickly in a dynamic retail environment.

Seasonal: 16 November 2026 until 24 December 2026

Rota: Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 09:00-18:00 with alternate weekends Saturday 10:00-18:00 and Sunday 10:00-17:00

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone by:
• Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
• Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
• Identifying customer needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action
• Excellent standards of merchandising and housekeeping are established and maintained in accordance with company guidelines
