Job summary

Squire's Garden Centres in the United Kingdom is seeking a friendly customer service assistant to provide professional support to customers during the busy Christmas season. You will work with the Garden Centre Manager to ensure visitors have an enjoyable shopping experience.

Shifts are seasonal from 18 November 2026 to 24 December 2026, with Saturdays from 07:45 to 16:30 and Sundays from 08:45 to 16:30. Additional days may be required, including charity launch events, with interview hours to be

Job description

Your primary responsibility will be to provide professional support to our customers.

Working closely with the Garden Centre Manager to help the business to succeed.

Seasonal: 18 November 2026 until 24 December 2026

Rota: Every Saturday 21 November - 19 December 07:45-16:30

Every Sunday 22 November - 20 December 08:45-16:30

Plus additional days required:

Wednesday 18 November for charity launch event, hours to be discussed at interview

Monday 1 and 7 December 08:30-12:30

Monday 21, Tuesday 22, Wednesday 23 December 09:00-16:30 with Thursday 24th December hours to be discussed at interview

Main duties and responsibilities:

Provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone by:

• Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
• Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
• Identifying customer needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action
