Job summary

Squire's Garden Centres is seeking friendly, customer-focused staff for a seasonal role during the festive period at our location in the United Kingdom. You will work closely with the Garden Centre Manager to ensure a positive shopping experience for every visitor.

The role requires weekend shifts (Saturdays and Sundays) with additional charity event days; you should enjoy engaging with customers, be willing to learn, and be ready to join in the Christmas spirit.

Job description

Your primary responsibility will be to provide professional support to our customers.

Working closely with the Garden Centre Manager to help the business to succeed.

Seasonal: 21 November 2026 until 24 December 2026

Rota:

Every Saturday 21 November - 19 December 07:45-16:30

Every Sunday 22 November - 20 December 08:45 - 16:30

Plus additional days required:

Wednesday 18 November for charity launch event, hours to be discussed at interview

Tuesday 1st and Monday 7th December 08:30-12:30

Monday 21st, Tuesday 22nd, Wednesday 23rd 07:45-16:30 with Thursday 24th December hours to be discussed at interview

Main duties and responsibilities:

Provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone by:

• Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
• Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
• Identifying customer needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action
