Job summary

Red Recruit Global is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth in freight forwarding, with a strong emphasis on import sea-freight services. The role involves building new client relationships, presenting tailored solutions, and traveling across the UK to secure opportunities.

You will manage your sales pipeline, conduct in-person meetings and calls, and work towards clear KPIs while benefiting from a commission scheme and a company car.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in forwarding/logistics.
• Track record selling import FCL services.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business.
• Promote import sea freight services to clients.
• Engage with clients through meetings, calls and events.
• Develop presentations and proposals for clients.
• Manage sales appointments and maintain a schedule.
• Attend sales meetings and provide performance reports.
• Create visit reports using the CRM system.
• Meet KPIs for profit, activity and visits.
• Build relationships with key clients to maximise revenue.
