Job summary

Streamline Search is helping a well-established independent Freight Forwarder recruit a proactive Business Development Manager. You will hunt and win new profitable customers, building a robust pipeline from home or client sites, while leveraging product knowledge across freight services.

You will generate leads, manage relationships, and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, collaborating with operations to ensure smooth handovers and ongoing account growth.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of personally winning new business within freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of the freight forwarding industry and commercial awareness.
• Ability to generate leads and build a pipeline independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the freight forwarding market.
• Generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline.
• Win profitable new customers through consultative solutions-led selling.
• Develop relationships with prospective customers and opportunities across multiple freight services.
• Manage the full sales process from initial contact to negotiation and close.
• Collaborate with operations for smooth handover of new accounts.
