Job summary

Cameo Consultancy (Recruitment) Limited is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover the South East from Guildford. The role is field-based, with a base salary of £40,000–£41,000 and uncapped commission, delivering an OTE of around £70,000.

You will build a robust pipeline and manage key accounts across the territory. Ideal candidates will have field sales experience, a proven B2B track record, and strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales management or area sales role.
• Proven track record in B2B sales.
• Strong prospecting and cold calling experience.
• High level of customer service and relationship building.
• Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
• Confident verbal and written communication.
• Ability to establish and nurture client relationships.
• High levels of initiative, energy and drive.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities across the territory through research and networking.
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of market requirements.
• Promote products to key accounts and end users.
• Manage revenue for your territory and develop prospects.
• Meet sales targets through cold calls, appointments, site surveys and demos.
• Aim for regular calls to target groups and follow up leads.
• Grow and maintain a qualified pipeline and KPI-driven activity.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams to optimise efficiency.
• Collaborate on product launches and term changes.
