NatCen is recruiting a Field Interviewer in Scotland to visit people in their local area and conduct in-home interviews on topics like health, housing and transport. You’ll be trained before fieldwork and supported with route planning and check-ins across your patch.

Role requires availability across weekdays, evenings and weekends, a valid UK driving licence, and strong listening and spoken English. Paid travel time and mileage are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car.
• Class 1 business insurance.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete a DBS check.
• Reliable home broadband.
• Confidence using basic technology.

Responsabilités

• Visit people in your local area and carry out in-home research interviews.
• Record responses accurately with the NatCen device.
• Travel across the assigned area; longer journeys may be required.
• Complete full training before fieldwork starts.
• Support route planning and regular check-ins with a named contact.
