Job summary

GxP Recruitment is seeking an External Technical Sales Manager for Scotland to drive growth across land-based industrial, infrastructure and engineering markets. You will engage asset owners, operators, consultancies, contractors and resellers with engineered solutions and long-term relationships.

You will identify opportunities from initial engagement to delivery, working with electrical, controls, instrumentation, mechanical and structural engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience presenting technical or complex solutions to engineers and senior decision-makers.
• Track record of developing new business and building accounts from early or cold-start positions.
• Knowledge of electrical, controls, instrumentation, mechanical or industrial infrastructure domains.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across targeted industrial and infrastructure markets in Scotland.
• Build relationships with owners/operators, engineering consultancies, EPCs, contractors, designers and resellers.
• Identify upcoming projects and develop opportunities from initial engagement through to technical specification and commercial delivery.
• Develop accounts from cold-start to become approved or specifiedtechnical solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations to engineers across multiple disciplines.
• Provide pre-sales technical advice and solution guidance throughout project lifecycles.
