Job summary

King’s Oak Academy in South Gloucestershire is seeking a Science Technician to support practical science lessons. You will prepare, provide, maintain and manage resources and information to enable safe, engaging practical activities for staff and students.

You should have A Level in science or equivalent, COSHH knowledge, good IT skills and strong communication. Part-time 22 hours/week, term time plus inset days, with a flexible pattern; permanent appointment started Nov 2026.

Actual Annual Salary: £13,644 - £14,871 on hours and weeks worked

Full-Time Equivalent Salary:£26,798 - £29,208 (CLF Grade B) Based on full-time hours, all year round.

Contract Type:Permanent, Part Time

Hours:Part time, 22hours per week, Term Time only plus + 5 Inset Days

Working Pattern:We can be flexible with the hours and days worked – happy to discuss at interview – Friday will be a working day.

About You:
