Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a Science Teacher for a thriving secondary school in North Tyneside. The role covers KS3-4 with a focus on engaging, inclusive lessons and fostering student wellbeing.

You will teach Biology, Chemistry or Physics with strong subject knowledge and effective behaviour management. The position runs full-time from September, with a long-term contract potential and ongoing CPD support.

Qualifications

The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan and teach lessons that cater to students of all abilities.
  • Create a positive, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment.
  • Encourage curiosity, critical thinking and a passion for scientific discovery.

We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Science or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Science within a secondary setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate young people.
  • The commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
