Training structure

  • Apr–Jul: Teach independently, refine your classroom management, complete your PGCE + QTS
What you\'ll need
  • A degree in Physics, Chemistry, or a related science field (2:1 or higher preferred)
  • OR strong A-level Physics or Chemistry
  • Passion for Science and education
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Commitment to learning and developing as a teacher
  • A driving licence is helpful but not essential – Carlisle has strong transport links
