Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a busy Manchester secondary school in recruiting a dedicated School Site Manager. This permanent, full-time role keeps the school safe, secure and running smoothly, with hands-on responsibilities across maintenance, facilities and site safety.

You will oversee buildings and grounds, coordinate repairs, monitor site security and support health and safety compliance, working closely with leadership, staff and contractors to maintain high standards each day.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or school premises is desirable.
• Knowledge of building maintenance and safety procedures.
• Proactive, can-do attitude with issue resolution.
• Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities.
• Independent work style and ownership of tasks.
• Good communication with staff and contractors.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain checks.
• Must be authorised to work in the UK.
