Job summary

Five Education is seeking a proactive Site Manager to maintain a safe, welcoming and well-presented school environment for pupils, staff and visitors. The role focuses on daily site upkeep, safety checks and collaboration with the wider site team.

You will work Monday to Friday during term time, with a 3-day handover period starting 26 October. The role offers a supportive team and opportunities to contribute to a busy educational setting.

Qualifications

• Understand health and safety in school environments.
• Confident using IT systems and maintaining compliance records.
• Excellent communication and ability to build relationships with staff, pupils, contractors and visitors.
• Organised, dependable and able to manage workload effectively.
• Proactive approach and willingness to take initiative.
• Self-starter who can identify and resolve issues independently.
• Positive attitude and team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out regular site maintenance and safety checks.
• Undertaking ad hoc cleaning duties as required.
• Managing general grounds maintenance to keep site safe and presentable.
• Working closely with the Site Operations Manager to complete planned and reactive tasks.
• Liaising with and meeting contractors on site.
• Updating compliance records and PPM tasks using iAM Compliant.
• Raising requisitions and supporting site administration processes.
• Assisting in maintaining high standards of health and safety across the site.
