Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a busy secondary school in Chester to recruit a hands-on School Site Manager. This permanent, full-time role keeps the site safe, secure and well maintained, with varied duties across facilities, maintenance and site safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, site supervision, school premises management or general maintenance is desirable.
• Understanding of building maintenance, health and safety procedures, compliance and site security.
• A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A practical mindset, with confidence working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with school staff and external contractors.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to undergo the required checks.
• Must be authorised to work in the UK

Responsibilities
