Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a capable School Site Manager to oversee the maintenance, security and day-to-day operation of the school premises in Yeovil. The role emphasizes safety, reliable facilities management and efficient coordination of tasks.

You will manage security, maintenance, and contractors, maintain health and safety records, and support events and emergency arrangements. An enhanced DBS check will be required and prior school site experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in site management or facilities supervision.
• School site experience is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of health and safety, building maintenance and site security.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
• Confidence coordinating contractors and working independently.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily site security, opening and locking procedures.
• Coordinating planned maintenance and responding to repair requirements.
• Supervising contractors and monitoring work carried out on site.
• Conducting inspections and maintaining health and safety records.
• Managing site supplies, equipment and maintenance schedules.
