Job summary

Oak Tree School in Winnersh is seeking an Assistant Site Controller to help maintain a safe, secure, and well‑functioning school environment. You will work closely with the Site Manager and Operations Manager on buildings, grounds, and facilities maintenance and refurbishment projects.

The role requires a hands‑on approach, strong organisational skills, and a good understanding of Health & Safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required or willingness to train.
• Hands-on approach to maintenance tasks.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations (or willingness to learn).
• Approachable, dependable team player with staff, students and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Security – regular inspections of premises, grounds and equipment; assist contractors with tasks and refurbishment projects.
• Health & Safety Compliance – assist with routine safety checks, including fire alarm testing and safety logs.
