Oak Tree School in Winnersh is seeking an Assistant Site Controller to support our Site and Operations Managers in maintaining a safe, secure and well-functioning campus. This hands-on role involves facilities, grounds, and transport tasks.

You will perform regular inspections, assist with safety checks, and work with contractors to complete maintenance and refurbishment projects; a full driving license is desirable, with opportunities to train.

Qualifications

• A full driving license (D1 category desirable or willingness to train) as you may be required to support students and staff travel.
• A practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving and maintenance tasks.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Responsabilités

• Carry out regular inspections of premises, grounds and equipment to maintain a clean and secure environment; coordinate with contractors on maintenance and refurbishments.
• Assist with routine safety checks (fire alarms, PAT tests), maintain Fire Safety Logbook and minibus upkeep ensuring roadworthiness.
