Job summary

The Gates Primary School is seeking a permanent full-time Site Manager to support the School Business Manager in managing security, maintenance and cleaning of all premises. The role involves security, health and safety inspections, supervising site operations, porterage, cleaning, and liaising with contractors.

The post requires 37 hours per week, from 7:30–11:30 and 14:00–17:30, with some weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• Basic maintenance and repair skills.
• Ability to use power tools and equipment relevant to the role.
• Awareness of Health & Safety issues.
• Experience of undertaking manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Security, health & safety inspections and site supervision.
• Maintenance and basic repairs of premises.
• Manage cleaning staff and contractors.
• Liaise with external contractors and vendors.
• Monitor cleaning and housekeeping standards.
