Job summary

Wexham Court Primary School is seeking a Site Manager to oversee school site and grounds, ensuring a safe, clean and secure environment. You will coordinate health and safety, advise on premises-related matters, and line manage the Assistant Site Officer while coordinating with cleaning operations across the site.

The role requires flexibility to work outside normal hours for events and trips and may include driving the school minibus after appropriate licensing and training is completed.

Qualifications

• Experience in premises-related matters, including relevant legislation and regulations.
• Experience in line management and coordinating with cleaning operations.
• Flexible and willing to work outside normal hours for events and trips.
• Ability to drive the school minibus, subject to holding the appropriate licence and completing required training or checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage school site and grounds and facilities for extended activities, ensuring a safe, clean and secure environment.
• Coordinate health and safety, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations across the school.
• Provide advice, training and assistance in premises-related matters, including relevant legislation and regulations.
• Line manage the Assistant Site Officer and coordinate with the cleaning contract supervisor in the management of cleaning operatives across the school site.
• Be flexible and willing to work outside of normal hours when required, including supporting school trips and events.
• Drive the school minibus as needed, subject to holding the appropriate licence and completing any necessary training or checks; maintain the minibus by refuelling, keeping it clean and ready for use.
