Job summary

The Cornerstone Academy is seeking a Site Assistant to support the operation, maintenance, security, cleanliness and health and safety of the school site. The role is 12pm–5pm, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, on a fixed-term contract to August 2027.

Starting ASAP, the salary for 25 hours is £16,652 (FTE £24,978). We require basic maintenance skills, health & safety awareness and a flexible, multi-tasking approach. Please contact Samantha Arnold for enquiries.

Qualifications

• Experience of general maintenance, caretaking, facilities, or site work.
• Basic practical skills in repairs and maintenance.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements.
• A flexible approach and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance, security, cleanliness and health and safety of the school site.
• Help ensure premises are safe, secure, well-maintained and welcoming for students, staff, visitors and contractors.
