Job summary

Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust is seeking a Site Assistant to help maintain, clean and secure school premises across Shireland Biomedical UTC and Shireland CBSO Academy.

The role supports safe site operations, opens and closes the academy, and prepares rooms for exams and events. It requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to work across two locations.

Qualifications

• Open and close the Academy as required.
• Set up and pack away tables/chairs for exams.
• Switch alarms on/off as required.
• Assist with general site activities such as painting, repairs and maintenance.
• Set up equipment/resources for shows and events in the Sport Hall.
• Follow health and safety procedures to ensure site safety.
• Ensure site cleanliness and manage spillages as needed.
• Attend any necessary training such as fire safety or manual handling.

LOCATION: Shireland Biomedical UTC / Shireland CBSO

SALARY: Band C SCP 5 – 8 £25,584 - £26,824 per annum

HOURS: 37 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year

• Ensuring site cleanliness e.g. empty bins, cleaning spillages etc.
• Undergo any further training where necessary e.g. fire safety, manual handling etc.
