Job summary

Dorset Council UK is recruiting a Caretaker for our primary schools in Weymouth. The role covers day-to-day security, safety, cleanliness and general premises maintenance, with a split shift across Junior and Infant Schools. Lone working is involved and times are to be negotiated at interview.

37.5 hours per week, annual salary £26,786–£27,217. Applicants should have GCSEs in Maths and English (grade 5/C or above) or equivalent, and a practical background in DIY/grounds work.

Qualifications

• Experience in DIY or grounds projects.
• Adhere to Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.
• GCSE Maths and English 5/C+ or above or equivalent.
