Job summary

Co-op Academy Clarice Cliff in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a reliable Premises Officer to keep the school’s buildings and grounds well maintained, secure, and safe. You will support the facilities contractor transition and work with staff and external partners to ensure high standards of upkeep.

You will prioritise workloads, perform low-level maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while building strong relationships with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in premises or facilities management is desirable.
• Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changing needs.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the school’s premises and surroundings with attention to safety.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to schedule maintenance.
• Support the transition to a new Facilities Management contractor and ensure follow-up on outstanding works.
