Job summary

Greenwood Academies Trust is seeking a committed Premises Officer to be based at Skegby Junior Academy in Sutton-in-Ashfield. The role focuses on safe, secure and well-maintained school buildings, supporting Trust strategies and managing premises staff and contractors.

You will lead on premises management, ensure statutory and environmental standards, and contribute to capital projects while using multiple IT systems for data input and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience of buildings and asset management.
• Experience supervising staff and managing work programmes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• IT literacy is a must as you will use several systems to input data.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the environment of all buildings is safe, secure, well maintained and compliant with Health and Safety requirements.
• Maintain statutory compliance across the academies and support Trust strategies.
• Line manage a Premises Assistant and coordinate with contractors on site.
• Support delivery of capital projects and premises-related initiatives.
• Input data and utilise multiple IT systems to track and report from site.
